The Precious Furs Pet Resort opened it's doors under new ownership on January 4, 2006.
S. Lynn Boucher brings with her over 40 years of experience in professional pet grooming, boarding, training, and animal behavior.
Lynn is a Nationally Certified Master Groomer who actually got her start at this same kennel as a "kennel kid" for professional
handler Bill Trainor. At that time it was a kennel for show dogs.
Lynn takes great pride in all her work, both with the animals and with the Pet Resort itself. She is a past board member in good standing
with the New England Pet Grooming Professionals (NEPGP) and member of the National Dog Groomers Association of
America (NDGAA). During her years of participation in competitive grooming, Lynn won numerous awards, including many first place
trophies, a top scissoring award, and the NEPGP award for Best All Around Groomer. Since retiring from the competition ring, Lynn has
shared her expertise as a guest lecturer at grooming seminars, and she is known far and wide for her ability in dealing with cats.

Erica came to work with us in 2015 as a full time groomer as Lynn prepared for her "retirement". Like Lynn, Erica is also an award
winning groomer and a member of the New England Pet Grooming Professionals (NEPGP). Erica got her start working with animals
right out of high school back in 2010 working at a local kennel until she left for college. While away at college she got a job working for a
pet groomer on Beacon St.in Boston as a dog walker. This is where she caught the grooming bug. She truly enjoyed watching the
groomers and learning about the different breeds. "I knew I had found my passion" says Erica. She moved back home soon after to take
a job with a corporate store who offered training. She she groomed there for just three years before deciding she needed to move on to
a place that could better utilize her skills and artistic eye. She wanted to work for a place that would offer her the ability to expand her
horizons and encourage learning the safest, and newest techniques. She interviewed with many salons before walking into Precious
Furs Pet Resort on a whim. She knew instantly she was "home". "Knowing I would be working for a National Certified Mater groomer who
encourages: travel to conferences, certifications, and competition was everything I could have dreamed of". Lynn took Eric under her
wing, honed her already amazing skills, taught her about breed standards (something you don't get from many corporate salons), and
the ins and outs of the grooming industry. Erica is currently studying to become a National Certified Master Groomer as well. Erica is
also excited to mention she LOVES to do creative grooming, just ask!
